10. Fabolous "There is No Competiton 2: The Funeral Service"

Mixtape Fab always brings his A-game. This is no exception.

9. Das Rascist "Sit Down, Man"

Das Racist takes a more serious approach, and it pays off. There is no denying these guys skills.

8. Hoodie Allen "Pep Rally"

Gotta loves Hoodie's use of samples. Everything from Marina and the Diamonds, to Beach House, to Two Door Cinema Club.

7. Young Jeezy "Trap or Die II"

Everyone could use a little more Jeezy in their lives. "Lose My Mind" just goes too hard.

6. XV "Vizzy Zone"

XV's going to blow up this coming year. Grab this quick.

5. Big Sean "Finally Famous Vol. 3"

The wait was over a year. As much as I hate to admit it, Sean delivered.

4. Major Lazer and La Roux present "Lazerproof"

Not a traditional rap/hip-hop mixtape, but Major Lazer and La Roux combined for one of the more unique and inventive tapes this year.

3. Wale "More About Nothing"

The follow-up to his amazing Mixtape About Nothing, and unlike most sequels, this one might be better than the original.

2. J Cole "Friday Night Lights"

Any mixtape that simultaneously shuts twitter down, as well as the artists own website has got to be good. Wrong. This is great.

1. Wiz Khalifa "Kush and Orange Juice"

This tape singlehandedly brought Wiz out from the underground to having Drake ask him to go on tour. Just incredible from start to finish.

A year ago today, J. Cole dropped his classic (yup I'm calling it a classic) tape The Warm Up. So in honor of this occasion, Cole released this "freestyle" over Dirty Money's "Angels," which is a sick beat to begin with. Like clockwork, Cole unloads on this beat. This dude's debut is going to be HUGE. Oh, and if you just emerged from a bomb-shelter, and do not have The Warm Up in your iTunes/Window's Media Player/whatever, get that pronto.

Unreleased J. Cole track that was apparently left off Dj Khaled's latest Victory album. Why, I don't know. Really solid track, with a nice guitar and piano beat, and of course J. Cole doing his usual thing. Honestly, J. Cole might be the best all around rapper in this year's class.

DJ Whoo Kid "10 Freshmen for '10 (Mixtape)"

In case you're not familar with any of the names off of XXL's Top 10 Freshmen for 2010 list, DJ Whoo Kid has compiled a mixtape with new material from each of the freshmen. After one listen, I think all of them did a really good job on their tracks. My favorites however would probably be Wiz and Fashawn after just one listen. Get the download here:
